Where do you have the choice of five sparkling swimming pools, including an Olympic–sized pool, lap lanes, four hot tubs and swimming hours for your grandkids? Here. At Laguna Woods Village.
Children’s Swim is 12 pm to 2 pm! From Memorial Day through September 30, Children’s Swim is extended to 3 pm.
Pool 2 is the most refreshing with the coolest temperature out of our five pools. Serious lap swimmers are best served at this pool. Lane lines are available during specified hours. Children’s Swim is noon to 2 p.m. for children up to 15 years old. Children’s Swim relocates to pool 6 from Memorial Day Weekend (Saturday) through September 30, noon to 4 p.m.
Pool 4 has the warmest water at 86 degrees. It is also open the longest hours. Handicapped access via ramps is available in both the pool and hot pool. There are no lap lanes but there are lap demarcations on the bottom of the pool. Saddleback classes take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1pm - 2:15pm.
Pool 5 is a hybrid pool that contains salt water and chlorine, so it is best for those with sensitive skin or those who desire a little extra bouyancy. This pool is all shallow with the deepest area at 5 feet in the center. Lane Lines are available during specified hours. Saddleback classes are held here on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 12pm - 12:50pm. Pool 5 has handicapped access via ramps in the hot pool.
For a more intimate, private feel, Pool 6 is a small backyard-style pool that usually runs between 82-84 degrees and generally stays peaceful and quiet. It is only open during the summer months and, compared with the other pools, it attracts a fraction of the crowds. This is a great place to cool off or spend the afternoon reading, sleeping or enjoying the sunshine and a cool breeze. Children’s Swim is from noon to 4 p.m., Memorial Day Weekend (Saturday) through September 30.
