During a special February meeting of the VMS board of directors, the members of VMS Inc. (Third Mutual, United Mutual and GRF boards of directors) voted to expand resident employment opportunities with VMS Inc. to include full-time employment.
This policy change was made in part due to various challenges with the post-pandemic job market.
Working with the VMS board, executive staff finalized full-time employment guidelines and, as of May 1, 2024, Village residents are welcome to apply for any full-time positions open within VMS Inc.
As with employment at any organization, there are personnel policies in place, some of which apply to former board members.
