LWAA 2024 Winning Artwork

During a one-month period, nearly 300 Village residents voted for their single-favorite artwork in the 2024 Laguna Woods Art Association exhibition, showcased along the first- and third-floor hallways of the Laguna Woods Village Community Center at 24351 El Toro Road.

The voters have spoken, and painting No. 115, “Tributary of the Colorado River,” a 36-by-48-inch oil on canvas painted by Linda Ruddy, takes the prize in this year’s competition. Many hearty congratulations to Ms. Ruddy!

If you haven’t yet had an opportunity to check out the exhibit at the Community Center, and “Tributary of the Colorado River,” displayed on the wall opposite the first-floor elevators, please visit and enjoy soon!
