GRF Board Election by Acclamation
GRF’s annual corporate members meeting to fill three positions on the GRF board of directors will be held in the Laguna Woods Community Center board room and as a virtual meeting on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at 10 a.m.
Three of the original six candidates withdrew their candidacies; therefore, the election will be certified by acclamation, with no balloting taking place. According to Section 8.3.2 of the GRF bylaws, if after the close of nominations, the number of nominees is equal to or less than the vacancies, those nominated and qualified shall be declared elected.
The following remaining candidates, who are board incumbents, will be declared elected:
- Bunny Carpenter
- James Hopkins
- Yvonne Horton
