Art Affair in the Village

"Carmel Trees" by Rollin Scott (pictured above) is one of many artworks currently on display at the Community Center.

If you’ve visited the Community Center recently, you’ve no doubt noticed its walls boast new, colorful life, thanks to more than 40 Laguna Woods Art Association artists who have shared their amazing talent with the Village for the new 2021 Community Center art exhibit.

Whether created in acrylic, gouache, mixed media, oil, watercolor or other medium, or whether their works are of spectacular nature, a place in time, a calming still life, a bold statement, a fascinating curiosity or pensive individuals, each is sure to inspire, engage, captivate, charm, amuse, provoke or affect in some way.

Artwork is displayed on the first, second and third floors of the Community Center. A colorful brochure features artists’ names as well as artwork titles, mediums, prices and locations within the facility. Concierge desk staff will be glad to provide a printed brochure and access to the second floor during normal business hours; third-floor access also is available during normal business hours.
