Masking in California
Masking guidelines and requirements, which seem to change frequently and are quite detailed, can be confusing and frustrating. As a friendly but important reminder, wearing a mask protects you and others.
In California, fully vaccinated people might choose to wear a mask indoors, but it is not required. However, unvaccinated persons continue to be required to wear masks in all indoor public settings per the California Department of Public Health (CDPH).
Cal/OSHA requires a safe working environment for all California employees, which is why VMS implemented a policy requiring all staff to mask regardless of vaccination status.
