Third and United 2021 Annual Election Schedules
The Third Laguna Hills Mutual Board of Directors and the United Laguna Woods Mutual Board of Directors are calling for interested Laguna Woods Village members to submit candidate submissions for the 2021 annual elections.
Third Mutual
The Third Laguna Hills Mutual Board of Directors is accepting candidate applications from Third members to fill three board openings with terms expiring at the 2024 annual election.
Third Mutual member candidates must return completed applications and candidate video agreement forms to Ms. Silva or Mr. Schultz by 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, and return candidate statements directly to the inspector of elections at candidates@unilect.com by 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 28.
Third’s general notice, which includes the date time and place for ballot submission, the date/time/location of the ballot counting meeting and list of all candidate names on the ballot, will be mailed to Third members on July 30.
Ballots will be mailed to Third members on August 30. The deadline to return ballots is September 30, 11 a.m., if mailing to the inspector of elections’ post office box, or 5 p.m., if hand-delivering to the Community Center ballot box. Ballots will be tabulated on October 1.
United Mutual
The United Laguna Woods Mutual Board of Directors is accepting candidate applications from United members to fill five board openings, with one term expiring at the 2022 annual election and four terms expiring at the 2024 annual election.
United Mutual member candidates must return completed applications and candidate video agreement forms to Ms. Silva or Mr. Schultz by 5 p.m. Friday, July 30, and return candidate statements directly to the inspector of elections at candidates@unilect.com by 5 p.m. Friday, July 30.
