Thinking of Becoming a Board Member?
For Village members interested in becoming a board candidate now or in the future, the Golden Rain Foundation (GRF) is sponsoring a second “Get on Board” coffee meeting Friday, July 9, at 2 p.m. at Clubhouse 7.
Members of the GRF Board of Directors will offer additional support and encouragement to those members looking to become successful candidates for upcoming board vacancies. Board duties and responsibilities to be covered during this meeting include fiduciary responsibilities, duty of care, duty of loyalty, duty to act and the business judgment rule, as well as Village Management Services’ working relationship with the boards. A Q&A session will follow. Refreshments will be served.
