Pool 4 Conditional Reopening
We are pleased to announce the conditional reopening of Pool 4 to Laguna Woods Village residents. Pool 4 is considered the recreational leisure pool and is designed for those who want to sunbathe, conduct light water exercises and/or cool off.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) indicates there is no evidence that the virus that causes COVID-19 can be spread to people through the water in pools. However, safeguarding our community is of utmost importance. That is why it is imperative that our community self‐enforce and strictly adhere to the restrictions mandated by the CDC, federal, state and local governments.
Guidelines for the conditional reopening of Pools 2, 4 and 5 are intended to reduce the risk of exposure to the COVID-19 virus. It is not a guarantee of your safety. Therefore, we urge residents to use their own good judgment in determining the amount of exposure risk when using any shared facilities or amenities. For updated guidelines, click here.
