The system for making required advance reservations at Pools 2 and 5 has changed.

Reservations for Pools 2 and 5

Swimmers may make required advance reservations up to one day in advance between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. by emailing SwimReservations@vmsinc.org or by calling 949-597-4382. Reservations for Saturday, Sunday and Monday can be scheduled the Friday prior. Residents may make two reservations per week. Scheduling and reservation times for Pools 2 and 5 remain unchanged.

Paddle Sports

To avoid high mid-day temperatures and UV index but still enjoy play, effective today, pickleball and paddle tennis hours are now 7 a.m. to noon and 4 to 8 p.m. Please see individual sports below for days of play. At this time, play remains restricted to singles, per USA Pickleball Association and American Platform Tennis Association guidelines. We continue to monitor changes to both sets of guidelines and hope to add doubles play as soon as possible.

Pickleball

• Hours are from 7 a.m. to noon and from 4 to 8 p.m., Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, the second and fourth Saturdays of the month.
• Make required reservations one day in advance during weekdays from 1 to 2 p.m. at 949-268-2274; one reservation can be scheduled per call.
• Court time is scheduled in 45-minute increments; reservation times are as follows: 7 to 7:45 a.m., 8 to 8:45 a.m., 9 to 9:45 a.m., 10 to 10:45 a.m., 11 to 11:45 a.m., 4 to 4:45 p.m., 5 to 5:45 p.m., 6 to 6:45 p.m. and 7 to 7:45 p.m.

Paddle Tennis

• Hours are from 7 a.m. to noon and from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays, and the first and third Saturday of the month.
• Make required reservations one day in advance during weekdays from 1 to 2 p.m. at 949-268-2274; one reservation can be scheduled per call.
• Court time is scheduled in 1.5-hour increments; reservation times are as follows: 7 to 8:30 a.m., 8:45 to 10:15 a.m., 10:30 a.m. to noon, 4 to 4:45 p.m., 5 to 5:45 p.m., 6 to 6:45 p.m. and 7 to 7:45 p.m.

Play on Sundays

On Sundays, pickleball and paddle tennis are open play from 7 a.m. to noon and from 4 to 8 p.m. Either sport may take an open court. An on-site staff person will adjust the net to eliminate resident touch points.
