Third Streetlight Update
All Acuity cobra head light fixtures were received; however, the first run of King K427 light fixtures that were to be shipped during the week of April 27, and received the week of May 4, had to be rejected due to 150 light fixtures having defective hoods. The manufacturer discovered the reason for the imperfections and corrected the fabrication process.
The Department of Maintenance and Construction began the installation of Acuity cobra head light fixtures on Wednesday, May 13 and will complete the installation today. A new shipment of approximately 300 King K427 light fixtures is in transit and scheduled for delivery the week of May 18. Providing there are no setbacks, the installation of King K427 light fixtures are scheduled to begin once the shipment has been received.
