Meet Newest Member of Third Board
Doug Gibson has been elected to the Third Laguna Hills Mutual Board of Directors.
A 16-year Village resident, Director Gibson is president of the RV Wheelers Club and is a member of the California Club and the Republican Club. With his wife, Lorrie, he developed the Gate 11 Disaster Task Force and also was a member of a Village recycling program civic group.
Director Gibson, who holds a Bachelor of Science in marketing and a Master of Business Administration, held management positions with Montgomery Ward, Yellow Cab Anaheim and more, and has owned and operated a small business. He was involved in Anaheim Youth Soccer and the U.S. Soccer Association, and was active in the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce, working with local school districts and law enforcement to establish the city’s Red Ribbon program.
“I am a second-generation resident who has lived in Gates 5/6 and 11, and who enjoys golf, entertainment, clubs, fitness centers, pools and many more amenities,” he said. “I am a team player who appreciates the expertise of board members. I will bring solid characteristics of listening, planning and communication with an ability to reach out to residents and gain their confidence.”
