Village Volunteer Dedication Recognized
On December 6 at the Annual Volunteer Luncheon, those who give the gift of time in Laguna Woods Village were honored with sincere appreciation for all their hard work and dedication.
Invitees included volunteers from the library, the history center, the video learning center, lawn bowling, the Equestrian Center, Village Television, the Community Activities Committee, the Disaster Preparedness Task Force, the PC and Mac learning centers, recreation class instructors, the AARP tax group, the docent program, the garden centers, the Foundation of Laguna Woods and Clubhouse 4 workshops.
Approximately 400 Village volunteers attended the luncheon, but there are more than 700 volunteers in the Village who logged more than 48,000 hours in 2019, contributing approximately $576,000 of value to the community.
