Fall Prevention Workshop Seminar October 30

The Laguna Woods Village Social Services Division continues its fall prevention workshop series with “What Matters to You Matters to Us,” a free, drop-in seminar Wednesday, October 30, from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at Clubhouse 7.

David Law, MD, board certified in pulmonary medicine, will speak about the 4Ms Framework (mobility, what matters, medication, mentation), a specific set of best-practice interventions for an age-friendly health system, with special emphasis on mobility and falls. The seminar also will feature a video presentation and a Q&A session. Refreshments will be served.

Additional presentations by fall-prevention physicians are scheduled for February 29, April 29 and June 24 at Clubhouse 7.
