Village Bus Drivers Learn to Better Assist Riders with Vision Loss

Laguna Woods Village bus drivers participated in a special training session on how to help older adults with vision loss navigate the Village bus system. The program was presented by Jeanne Bray, an instructor with the Dayle McIntosh Center in Laguna Hills. The mission of the nonprofit center is to assist with access and independence for people with disabilities. Training included information on guiding bus riders with impaired vision and how to best work with service dogs.
