OC Vector Control to Hold Information Meeting at City Hall
The Orange County Mosquito and Vector Control District is holding a community meeting Thursday, April 25, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers at 24264 El Toro Road. Meeting topics will cover how to recognize vector activities and take action to protect yourself and the community. The event also will offer practical tips and tricks to reduce mosquitoes and rats around your home. RSVP to 949-639-0500. April 27 Is National Prescription Medication Take Back Day
The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day by the U.S. Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.
Village Residents can bring unwanted, unused and expired prescription medications for disposal on Saturday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Laguna Woods City Hall at 24264 El Toro Road. No sharps, marijuana or pressure canisters, please. The event will be held rain or shine. For more information, call 714-647-4133.
