Celebrate Arbor Day by the Creek
Laguna Woods Village will celebrate Arbor Day Friday, April 27 from 10 to 10:30 a.m. by planting a sycamore tree at Aliso Creek between Cul-de-sacs 12 and 60. Arbor Day originated in 1872 as a holiday to encourage the planting of trees to enhance the environment. Today, countries all over the world observe the day to honor how trees clean the air and water, slow climate change, prevent species loss and feed the human soul.
Join the Landscape Division as they plant a sycamore that will grow and be enjoyed for generations of Villagers to come. For information call 949-597-4273.
