Village Games

The 2013 Village Games are scheduled for Wednesday, April 10.

Commemorating its tenth year with a new name – the Village Games – the two-week long event is designed to inspire camaraderie and promote friendly competition. Last year, more than 560 Village athletes participated in the 2012 Senior Games, during which hundreds of gold, silver and bronze medals were awarded to the champions of over 26 different sporting events.

Open for participation to Laguna Woods Village residents, there are 25 events scheduled throughout the community: badminton, basketball, bicycling, billiards, bocce ball, bowling, duplicate bridge, progressive bridge, cribbage, dance sport, equestrian, fitness, 27-hole golf, par three golf, lawn bowling, paddle tennis, pickleball, poker, scrabble, shuffleboard, softball, swimming, table tennis, tennis, and volleyball.
