Want to connect with nature in a friendly social setting? Let Laguna Woods Audubon be your link. Established in 1971, Laguna Woods Audubon organizes bird walks, brings in guest speakers, publishes a newsletter, offers trips, and holds special events.
Each year we host seven public meetings with refreshments. Each meeting features a guest speaker. In addition, this year we are offering 22 bird walks, a picnic, an end-of-the-season potluck and a bus trip to Descanso Gardens in La Canada.
The trip to Descanso Gardens, timed to catch the peak of the camellia flowering, will be on Saturday February 20. The price is $35.00 per person. Contact John Andes, 206-9659, for further details.
