Our club is organized to stimulate sportsmanlike interest in golf through the conducting of 9-hole tournaments and special events and to promote and conserve the true spirit of the game of golf as embodied in its ancient and honorable traditions.
Membership is open to women who are owner residents and who are members of the Golden Rain Foundation of Laguna Woods Village and can demonstrate knowledge of the game of golf. Lessees who can show proof of a minimum of one year long term lease may be considered for membership.
Our weekly tournaments are held each Tuesday, the designated "Ladies Day" for our home course.

To qualify for membership, all new members must show ability to play a twenty seven (27) or lower handicap and have knowledge of the rules and etiquette of golf. Prospective members with current LW Women's 18 Hole Handicap will be assigned a 9 hole handicap that is one half of their 18 hole handicap. Prospective members from other 18 hole courses and prospective members that do not have a current handicap must turn in five (5) attested cards played on courses 1, 2 and 3. A temporary handicap will be assigned by the Handicap Chairman after receipt of the five (5) attested scores assuming they show the prospective member can play to a twenty seven (27) handicap or lower. They are then eligible to compete for prizes in weekly play.
