To nominate a Village resident for Grandparent of the Year, fill out the form at the bottom of the screen!
Description and Official Rules: .jpg) To commemorate National Grandparents Day, Laguna Woods Village is hosting thier second annual “Grandparent of the Year” contest! Grandchildren of Village residents are invited to nominate their grandparents in this second annual contest.
Grandkids and great-grandkids of all ages are invited to tell the world, in 100 words or less, why their Grandma or Grandpa is the best! Entries, which will be posted on the Village website and on the Village Facebook Page, will be accepted through August 31.
The winner will be chosen during a live, televised drawing on Channel 6 at between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on Friday, September 7, 2012. The Grand Prize is a $200 Olive Garden gift certificate generously donated by Professional Community Management.
Grandchildren may out the form below to enter the contest - and it's okay if they need a little help! Handwritten entries will also be accepted. Entries must be e-mailed or postmarked by August 31, 2012.
The contest is open to grandchildren of Laguna Woods Village residents only. Nominations must be 100 words or less. Please include the grandchild’s first and last name, the nominated grandparent’s first and last name(s), his or her manor number and telephone number.
Those under 14 years of age should ask their parents’ permission before submitting their nomination form. Names of minors will not be published on the web.
If multiple submissions are recieved for the same grandparents, they will be posted online for grandparents to see; however, each household will only be entered once into the drawing.
