New Look for Village Website! Something looks different about the lagunawoodsvillage.com website…
That’s because some minor tweaks to the site design have been made to increase its usability for residents and guests to the site. The look and functionality of the website have been updated, based on user feedback. Improvements include the suggestions and input gathered, such as an option to increase font size at the bottom left of every page.
Navigation menus have been moved to the left, allowing the user’s eye to find them more naturally.
In addition to the functional changes, the website now has a modern, uniquely Laguna Woods Village look.
The scrolling lifestyle photos on the homepage are intended to invite visitors to virtually experience the active Laguna Woods Village lifestyle. The link boxes for “current” and “future” residents direct visitors where to go.
What happened to the drop down navigation menus?
Many users commented that the drop down menus were difficult to navigate. To find what you are looking for on the new website, first click into the relevant section – Future Residents, Resale and Lender Information, Resident Links, Clubs and Club Webpages, Recreation, or TV-6 – then navigate through the sections listed to the left.
Alternatively, you may use the “Search our Site” feature linked at the top right of every page.
Where is the Facebook (or YouTube, Twitter, or RSS Feed) link?
The social media links are at the bottom right of every page.

Residents who visit the site will now enjoy easier navigation and access to much more timely information about their community. “Use of the Village website has increased three-fold over the last few years,” says Jerry Storage, General Manager at Professional Community Management. “Feedback from the residents helped guide the site’s upgrade, resulting in an online portal that is as beautiful as it is useful!” Indeed, resident input reflected a desire for better functionality and accessibility. For instance, navigation menus have been moved to the left, allowing the user’s eye to find them more naturally. And by popular demand, there is an option to increase font size. In addition to better functionality, the website will has a modern, uniquely Laguna Woods Village look. Scrolling lifestyle images adorn the homepage, inviting visitors to virtually experience the active Laguna Woods Village lifestyle. Quick links for “current” and “future” residents will direct visitors where to go. All the current sections and features residents rely on remain easy to find on the refreshed site in a more pleasant and modern format. |
