WARE and The City of Laguna Woods Offer FREE Monthly Bulky Item Collection Collecting bulky items illegally left at trash enclosures, on driveways or along curbs currently costs residents and businesses over $75,000 each year. The City franchise now requires Ware Disposal to provide free collection of bulky items one day each month so that everyone can participate legally and to avoid these costs. Free Pick-Up Dates
If you have curbside collection, place bulky items along the curb. If you put trash in bins, place bulky items only in or around trash enclosure areas. Place items out no earlier than 6 p.m. the night before or by 7:30 a.m. on the scheduled collection day. No collections will be made from garages, patios or inside residences.
Bulky items are usually too large or heavy to place in a trash or recycling bin, and include such items are furniture−couches, beds, clean mattresses−television consoles, appliances and all forms of Electronic Waste (E-Waste), outdoor equipment and machinery, and other large items. Ware Disposal will not collect Household Hazardous Waste (HHW), including oil, pesticides, vehicle batteries, soiled mattresses and similar items. |
