Staff reports potential breeding areas such as creeks, wetlands and catch basins to Orange County Vector Control for regularly scheduled treatment by that agency.  Additionally, fliers supplied from the same agency have been made available to grounds and irrigation crews to aid them in identifying potential mosquito breeding sources so that they may take the appropriate steps to eliminate them when possible.  Staff also endeavors to educate residents about what they can do around the manors to identify and eliminate possible sources through committee meetings, newspaper articles, and letters to individual residents.
