NOTES REGARDING GUESTS

 GENERAL INFORMATION ON THE POOLS

Pool 1:  All the sun shades are closed all day July through August. There are tile lane demarcations on the pool floor but no lane lines. Lap swimmers swimming the length of the pool have the right of way. The Saddleback class takes place on Tuesday/Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. The Aquadettes meet on Monday & Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Recreation Sponsored Aquatic Fitness held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 p.m. to 5:50 p.m. During these times the pool is closed for use; however the deck and hot pool remain open.  This pool becomes the late pool, closing at 10:00 p.m., when Pool 4 closes for maintenance.

Pool 2:  This pool has the coolest temperatures. Serious lap swimming is best at Pool 2. Lane lines are available during specified hours (see front side). The only diving board in the Community is at this pool. Children’s Swim is 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. for children 4 to 15 years old. From Memorial Day through Labor Day, Children’s Swim increases to 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Children under 4 are not allowed at any pool facility.

Pool 4:  This pool has the warmest water. It is also open the longest hours and has handicapped access via ramps in both the pool and hot pool. There are lane demarcations for lap swimming the length and walking in shallow end. Lap swimmers swimming the length of pool always have right of way. Many people with physical limitations use the shallow end of this pool for exercise and walking. The Saddleback class takes place on Tuesday & Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. The deep end is open for use during class.

Pool 5:  This pool has a salt water/chlorine hybrid system so it is best for those with sensitive skin. Pool 5 is all shallow with the deepest portion in the center at 5 feet. Lane lines are available during specified hours. The Saddleback class takes place on Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 12:50 p.m.

Pool 6: This is a small backyard-style pool that generally stays peaceful and quiet. It is only open summer months and compared to the other pools, it attracts a fraction of the crowds. This is a good place to cool off and spend the afternoon reading, sleeping or enjoying the sunshine and a cool breeze.
